Lift your pitch!

We've all heard so much about the 'elevator pitch' - the story you tell in the space of time it takes to travel between 2-3 floors in a lift, in response to the question 'so what do you do?'.

To make life interesting, consider the idea of changing your pitch on a regular basis, and 'lifting' it!  What do I mean by 'lifting' it?  Have some fun with it - you'll be more memorable, and stand a far better chance of connecting with the others in the lift with you if you can make them laugh!  The key ingredients of an 'elevator' pitch are to state:
  • who your target market/audience is
  • what problem they have that you solve
  • how you do this
For example:  'I work with mature women who struggle to balance the demands of career and motherhood by helping them find creative ways to operate more efficiently'.

It follows the requirements, but doesn't exactly inspire, does it?

How about: 'I add zest, vitality and passion to the lives of professional women by helping them explore their true identities!'  It has more energy, more excitement and more intrigue - all helping you be more memorable and encouraging your listener to want to know more!

If you fancy adding a bit of zest, vitality and passion to lift your pitch, see the zing on our website!
