What language do you use?

Each time you hear yourself using 'disempowering' language like 'I can't....' get excited!  You have uncovered a hidden roadblock to your success - which means you can now change it and therefore improve your results!

To be aware of how you communicate, take note of the words you use over the next few days in the following situations:

Language I use when:
  • I'm stressed
  • I feel certain
  • I'm feeling disconnected from someone
  • I'm judging someone
  • I'm feeling frustrated
  • I'm feeling empowered
Make a decision to only use language that focuses on the positive - that says:
1. What you want, rather than what you don't want;
2. Who you are, rather than who you're not
3. What you can do, rather than what you can't.

This will motivate you to move forwards rather than remain stuck in the hole you were heading down.  Very quickly you will notice that you become more focused, more decisive and more effective.

Sounds simple? - it is!  And surprisingly powerful.  Make it a habit - you'll like it.
